WHATSAPP will be discontinued on these smartphones in a few months, from iPhone to Android phones included

WHATSAPP Android 2.3.7 and iOS 8: WhatsApp , the world's most popular messaging service, will stop running on some smartphones. IOS 8 and Android 2.3.7 or older operating systems are turning off WhatsApp support. This is being done because the compatibility on these operating systems of WhatsApp is being phased out from 1 February 2020. That is, WhatsApp will not work on the phone which will have these operating systems. Although the relief is that the phones that already have WhatsApp installed will continue to run, but as soon as you uninstall it and think of downloading it again it will not be downloaded. WABetaInfo has given this information by tweeting.

According to the tweet, this new system will come into effect from 1 February 2020. That is, WhatsApp will not be available on iOS 8 and Android 2.3.7 or older operating systems after this date. The company has also said that WhatsApp will not be available in Microsoft Store after 1 July 2019. With this, WhatsApp in Windows Phone will not work after 31 December 2019.

At the same time, the company has said on its decision that more users will not be affected by it. Only those users who are still using the old operating system (iOS 8 and Android 2.3.7) will be affected by this.

Earlier, WhatsApp made a similar announcement in June. In this announcement, the company was then reported to discontinue its services on Android version 2.3.7 and below, while operating systems on iOS 7 and below.
